Thanks to the trough structure, they protect the ankle joint against valgus ankles, prevent valgus of the heels and valgus of the knees. They are used for the correct positioning of the flat and valgus feet. They absorb micro-shocks caused by walking, stimulate muscles and ligaments to work dynamically.
