Thanks to the use of an anatomically formable metal plate and an additional polymer reinforcement, the brace precisely adapts to the shape of the child’s hand. Its unique construction allows it to be used on both the left and right hand – simply switch the plates. The breathable fabric with a soft cotton lining minimizes the risk of irritation, ensuring comfort even during extended wear.

The product supports the treatment of deformities in the wrist area, fractures of the distal forearm, and is also used in postoperative management. Thanks to the anatomically contoured metal plate, which can be individually shaped, the orthosis allows precise adaptation to the child’s hand, increasing comfort and therapeutic effectiveness. The plate should only be shaped by a qualified specialist and always placed on the palmar side.

Instructions for use:

Shape the metal plate according to the child’s hand – this should be done by a doctor or specialist. If necessary, switch the plates to adapt the product to the other hand – the metal plate must always be on the palmar side. Put the orthosis on so that the fingers remain free. First, thread the short strap through the buckle, tighten, and fasten. Then, attach one of the long straps on the back of the hand and wrap it spirally around the forearm. Repeat this step with the second strap, placing it parallel to the first.

Cleaning and maintenance:

Before washing, remove the metal and polymer plates. Fasten all Velcro parts to prevent fabric snagging. Hand wash the product in lukewarm water (30°C), without bleach. Avoid wringing – gently press out excess water instead. Dry flat at room temperature, away from heat sources. Do not tumble dry.
