The Thumb Stabilizer Light thumb and wrist stabilizer provides effective support for injuries and overloads within the thumb and wrist area. The product ensures stabilization thanks to an anatomically contoured metal insert, which can be individually adjusted – preferably with the assistance of a specialist. The cotton lining increases wearing comfort, and gentle warming stimulates the muscles to relax. Recommended for tendon inflammations, minor deformities, and during the recovery period after surgeries.

Intended use and recommendations:

The Thumb Stabilizer Light thumb and wrist stabilizer is an orthosis designed to provide stabilization of the thumb joint and wrist while maintaining comfort of use. Thanks to the anatomically contoured metal insert, which can be individually adjusted (only by medical personnel), the product enables precise immobilization of the thumb in the appropriate position. The stabilizer gently warms the affected area, which supports the relaxation of tense muscles and alleviates pain. The interior is lined with soft cotton fabric, which ensures high wearing comfort even for extended periods. The orthosis is recommended in cases of minor deformities of the thumb joints, inflammations of tendons in its area (e.g., tenosynovitis), and as support after surgical procedures within the thumb and wrist area. It may be used both during the treatment phase and prophylactically, in order to limit the risk of overload. It is not recommended to shape the insert independently – this should be performed by qualified medical personnel. The product should not be used in the presence of symptoms such as numbness, cyanosis, or swelling of the hand without consulting a doctor.

Directions for use:

Put on the stabilizer and tighten the strap around the thumb, then wrap and fasten the strap around the wrist. If necessary, the metal insert can be shaped according to the structure of the hand – preferably by medical personnel.

Cleaning and maintenance:

Before washing, fasten all Velcro elements together. Hand wash the product at 30°C without the use of bleach. Dry at room temperature, avoiding direct heat sources and tumble dryers. Do not wring – gentle cleaning extends the durability of the orthosis.
