The patella strap – sub-patellar band Orthoteh Patellabrace Comfort – is a specialist orthopedic orthosis designed to relieve the patellar tendon and reduce pain associated with overload and inflammatory conditions of the anterior knee compartment. Thanks to its anatomical shape and silicone pressure element, the strap provides precise and comfortable pressure around the quadriceps tendon insertion, supporting the treatment of conditions such as patellar tendinitis (jumper’s knee), Osgood-Schlatter disease, and patellofemoral arthrosis. The built-in silicone also has a massaging effect, which promotes improved blood circulation and reduces tissue tension. The strap is made from modern Extreme® fabric with antibacterial and breathable properties, ensuring thermal comfort and effective moisture management from the skin surface, even during physical activity.

Instructions for use:

Place the silicone element just below the knee, directly under the patella. Then fasten the strap tightly enough to keep it in place, but without excessive pressure. Make sure it does not cause skin discoloration or discomfort.

Cleaning and maintenance:

Fasten all Velcro elements before washing. Hand wash in lukewarm water (up to 30°C), avoiding bleach and aggressive detergents. Dry at room temperature, away from heat sources. Do not tumble dry. Avoid twisting the material – this will extend the product’s durability.
