The universal Knee Brace FIX Uni is a medical device intended for temporary immobilization of the knee joint in a fully extended position. It is used in cases of injuries and deformities of the knee joint, during recovery after surgical treatment, and in conditions of increased flexor tension requiring stabilization and unloading of the joint. The design of the orthosis is based on three anatomically shaped metal panels, which provide a high level of stabilization and should be individually adjusted to the shape of the limb by a doctor or specialist.

Instructions for use:

Shape the metal panels according to the shape of the limb – this should be done by a doctor or specialist. Separate the three textile sections and reattach them with Velcro as needed. Wrap the orthosis around the leg so that the patella is positioned in the central opening. Secure the textile part with the short Velcro straps. Fasten the strap below the patella, then the one above it. Excess strap length may be trimmed. Thread and fasten the remaining straps – first on the lower leg, then on the thigh.

Cleaning and maintenance:

Before washing, fasten all Velcro elements. Hand wash the product at 30°C. Do not use bleach and do not tumble dry. It is recommended to dry at room temperature, away from direct heat sources. Avoid strong twisting – gentle care will extend the durability of the orthosis.
